What is Respite Care?
Respite care gives caregivers a break from caring for their loved one. A short-term stay at Quiet Oaks offers around-the-clock skilled nursing care for an individual with a "life limiting disease" and gives families a chance to rest from being caregivers.
Respite care at Quiet Oaks provides the same services as a hospice resident would receive. Nursing care (including bathing), medication administration, food and laundry services are all included with a respite stay.
If your loved one needs to be lovingly cared for so that you can take that much needed time for yourself, give us a call and we can answer your questions. If you are wondering if respite care may be beneficial for yourself or a loved one, we encourage you to contact us to schedule a tour and receive the information you need to make the best decision for your individual situation. Contact our Director of Clinical Services, Jill Massmann, or our Executive Director, Linda Allen at (320)255-5433.
